eos Lip Balm Info and 5pk Review

Hello lovelies!

Today I went by Costco and spotted this cute 5 pack of eos lip balms and I couldn't resist buying it!  The price listed was only $10.99! That means each of these little beauties were around $2.20 each! If you were to find them in the drugstores, you'd see that they're around $3-4 each. (Quite a bargain I must say!)  I went onto the Costco site to try and find a link for you guys, but they only have the 6pk listed online (which you can see here).  If you are looking for this lip balm pack, see if you can find it the next time you stop by Costco!

Now to talk about what's in this variety pack! Each of these lip balms are made up of different ingredients to make up the scents.  As stated on the packaging, "it is 95% organic, 100% natural and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth."

There is a Strawberry Sorbet (pink), which was featured as part of their Spring 2-pack limited edition.  You can occasionally get lucky and find this one in your local drugstores, but it's never a guarantee. They do have it available on their website here.

Their Passion Fruit (purple) was the other flavor/scent used in the Spring 2-pack.  This one you can not find in drugstores.  It's more rare to find than the Strawberry Sorbet.  I would say that I like this one the most out of the five included in the pack. (Lucky for me that it's so rare to find right? Sad face.) Now if you only want these two, drugstore.com still has it in stock here. Don't even try to get it off amazon, because with eos' limited edition packs, the price will always spike up like crazy.

The last three: Honeysuckle Honeydew (green), Summer Fruit (red), and Sweet Mint (blue), are more easily accessible in drugstores. If you only wanted to buy one or two in the store, you would most likely see these three (or at least two of them). These are also available on there website here. I'm not too keen on the Honeydew one; I don't know...the scent just doesn't appeal to me.

**Summer Fruit and Strawberry Sorbet are also featured in the Limited Edition Basket of Fruit 4pk, my post on it here. **

Review time!

These flavor/scents, whatever you call them, aren't overwhelming, so it won't seem like you smashed a whole fruit on your lips. It's very light scented.  These lip balms will keep your lips moisturized pretty adequately; I would still say I love the Chapstick brand lip balms a little more in that category.  Honestly, eos lip balms are way too overhyped, but who could say no to the adorable packaging?! :3 Yes, I'm a sucker for these too. (I must collect them alll!!!) Haha. Crazy rampage aside, it is not the best lip balm I've ever used, but it's still good and definitely worth a try!
