This month's Ipsy Bag features some products which I think works well with the "Sensationally Sunkissed" theme. Summer and bright neon shades definitely go hand in hand. This month's bag is neon pink with scallop-trimmed edges. I promise, the color is a lot brighter in person than it is in pictures! I love the scallop trim. Very girly! The material is reminiscent of a soft, cowhide material.

Inside the Bag!
Befine Food Skin Care Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 (1.5 fl.oz, 44mL)
I love receiving moisturizers in my bag. You can never go wrong with moisturizers that have SPF especially during summer! This product is allergen free fragrance, paraben free, no artificial colors, and no animal testing. Sounds all good and natural to me! This moisturizer has rosemary, pomegranate and rice (doesn't really smell like it though). It has a hint of that sunscreen/sunblock scent. It has a runny, glue-like consistency, though it can feel a bit thick once it's applied on the skin. It is such a steep price for such a small moisturizer though. (1.7 oz, $24)
Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 08 (1 fl. oz, 30mL)
I have no use for tanning oils. I get tan just being out and about, so I'm going to leave this sealed and hopefully I'll find someone who will put it to good use. It is water resistant for 40 mins and it's rich in vitamins, antioxidants and exotic plant extract. Oxybenzone free, paraben free, retinyl palmitate free, and synthetic fragrance free! It features a little spray nozzle. Active ingredients are octinoxate and oxtisalate. (8 fl. oz, $11.99)
Elizabeth Mott Tints and Sass in Cherry (10g, 0.35 oz)
This lip and cheek stain has a sweet, candy cherry scent. It looks like a true cherry color to me. It's kind of like a red with very slight, plummy tones. I don't understand why the lid is so long; it's like 1 and a half times the length of the actual container. It features a doe foot applicator, similar to typical lip glosses. I am under the impression that it doesn't last as long as other lip tints I have, but it's still a fun color for summer and it still is long lasting. Image shows the tint blended out (bottom) as well as a normal swatch (top) (Full size is provided, $22.99)
POP Beauty Sunkissed Bronzer in Secret Sunshine (6.95 g, 0.25 oz)
I didn't think I'd like using bronzer, but it's actually fun to use, and I'm very fortunate in getting one in my bag this month (because I would not have purchased bronzer otherwise). The shimmer is very slight and it gives my face a subtle, sunkissed look. It also slims down my face and it doesn't look unnatural. I'm pleasantly surprised with this product. This is the first time I ever used bronzer on my face and I love it! It also has added Vitamin E! (Full size is provided, $10)
BareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow SPF 15 (1mL, 0.03oz)
I will add my thoughts on this product when I receive it. Ipsy forgot to include it in my bag, so I have emailed them and am waiting for it to come. All I know is that it will be a neutral shade- either Divine Wine or Barely Nude. I'm excited for it though; I love BareMinerals products. (0.10 fl. oz, $18)
Update 29 July 2014: Received it in the mail today! It's really creamy, kind of watery, but I think that was from being in the heat all day. Once dried, it doesn't smudge. It's a warm brown with a bit of plumy tones. There is a bit of shimmer in it and the applicator is similar to a lip gloss'.
The bag is not as bad as I initially thought it was going to be. The only product I know I'm not going to use is the tanning oil, simply because I don't go out and tan. After trying out the bronzer, I think that is my favorite item from this bag's month. The BareMinerals product is still on it's way, so I will let you know if that product tops the bronzer. These are popular kind of products to use for summer and I will get a lot of use out of a number of these goodies.
Retail value of bag: ~$61.07
