3B Box | Beauty Beyond Borders | May 2015

Hello! How did the long weekend treat you? Tuesday was an absolute struggle for me (the day just kept dragging!) Today, I want to share with you the May 2015 Beauty Beyond Borders box!

The 3B Box, or Beauty Beyond Borders, is a monthly beauty subscription box service. It is a recently newer one that features asian cosmetics and skincare products. This box includes 4 - 5 full and deluxe sample sized products. The box is $12/month, which is on the lower end of the price spectrum for subscription boxes. If you want to find out more details about this box, check out their site HERE.

I was on the waitlist in January and I got off the waitlist just in time for the May box. From my understanding, there is currently a waitlist now, but it seems like it will only take a couple of months before you get off of it!

The products are in a cute little drawstring, chiffon-like purple bag!

Included in the Box: (Italicizes are descriptions on the info card!)

Skinfood False Lashes in Daily #3
We love Skinfood false lashes because they are easy to apply and give amazing volume and length. To use, trim lashes to fit the length of your own eyes. Apply glue onto band and let it dry for 10 - 15 seconds until adhesive becomes tacky. Apply lashes onto your lash base, starting with the inner corner. Finish with eyeliner if desired and remember - practice makes perfect. $1.94

I absolutely adore crisscross lashes. I haven't had a chance to use them yet though. These lashes are longer towards the center and shorter towards the sides. The band looks sturdy, so I'm sure it can be used a couple of times, if desired. This also includes a little adhesive as well! (Will do a more in-depth review after I try it on!)

TonyMoly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil in #5 black brown
We all know good brows help frame the face. This auto eyebrow pencil is perfect for achieving a natural look when filling in your eyebrows. One end has a retractable tip so you never have to sharpen it, while the other end reveals a spoolie to achieve a natural and subtle look. $2.43

Initially, I was kind of disappointed getting a brown brow pencil. I thought it wouldn't work out as well as the gray-black shade I've been using. When I tried it on my brows though, it looked really natural, so I am going to get some good use out of this. The shade is actually black brown, though it looks like a normal brown. I really like how it is retractable and how it has a little spoolie at the end! It has a very thin, pointed tip so it can easily create small, little strokes.

Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam (30ml)
This popular gentle cleanser is formulated with baking powder to exfoliate and deep cleanse the skin. It helps remove makeup, dirt, and excess sebum to keep skin smooth and clear. To use, wet face and dispense a small amount onto hands. Lather and apply to skin in a gentle massaging motion. Wash and rinse thoroughly with warm water. $0.97

I was actually using this product beforehand and have been loving it! While this product does have exfoliating elements, it is still quite gentle on the skin. It has a really nice lather and it has a light citrus scent. It makes my face feel refreshed and smooth after use! I use it every couple of days and it doesn't dry out or irritate my skin!

Tony Moly Tangerine Whitening Hand Cream (30 g)
We received so much positive feedback on the TonyMoly Peach Hand Cream included in a previous 3B box that we decided to include another favorite this month! Use this hand cream regularly to improve hydration, smooth skin texture, and keep your hands ultra-soft. (Plus how adorable is the packaging?) $5.73 (Sephora, UrbanOutfitters, $12)

This packaging is absolutely adorable! The scent reminds me of those mandarin orange drinks. It is citrus-y but it is not as strong as an orange. The cream is moisturizing and lightweight. It's not greasy and absorbs in the skin well. I haven't had it long enough to notice any "whitening" effects yet, but it is a good overall hand cream! (Will do a more in-depth review after longer use of this product!)

Note: The prices I have included are the retail prices on RoseRoseShop. I have shopped on the site a couple of times before (click here to see my RoseRoseShop website review and haul). These prices are some of the lowest you'll find for these products. Even taking that into account, if you were to purchase this entire bag on the site now, the total (plus shipping and their current sale) will be $14.33. That still makes this bag worth the money. You can also note that the hand cream is actually available to us here in the states at Sephora and Urban Outfitters, and that itself, is worth the price of the bag.

I have done an unboxing of this bag, if you want to check it out!
Overall Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this box, and I am looking forward to next month's! I like how this box has full sized products and even deluxe sample sizes. Well worth the money! My favorite product in the bag would probably be the hand cream. It sits at my desk and it brings in a cheery mood. Don't you tell me a little tangerine sitting on your desk wouldn't make you happy! Anyways, I will find use in all the products from this month. Overall, wonderful box...bag, and wonderful products!

Take care and have a lovely day!
