3B Box | Beauty Beyond Borders | June 2015

Hello there! I know I'm a bit slow with this post ( surprise there...) but I wanted to share with you my thoughts on the June 3B Box!

The 3B Box, or Beauty Beyond Borders, is a monthly beauty subscription box.  For $12/month, you will get 4 - 5 full-sized or deluxe sample sized products.  These are Asian products that include both skincare and cosmetic products. If you are curious on the world of Asian beauty products, and do want to sample such products, check out the 3B Box site here.  As of this time, there are no promo codes for this box, but I will let you know if and when that becomes available. If you are still hesitant on this box, just join now and think about it later! There is a waitlist for this box, but they are accepting waitlisted people frequently.

So...inside this mesh-y purple drawstring bag are four lovely products: (Italicizes are descriptions that were provided on the info card!)

Skinfood Argan Oil Conditioner (40 g)
This miracle conditioner contains nourishing argan oil and silk to transform dry, overly processed, damaged hair into healthy and shiny tresses.  It permeates deep into hair follicles to moisturize without weighing hair down.  To use, wet hair and scalp with lukewarm water.  Massage into hair and rinse off thoroughly.

This conditioner contains argan oil, which will help heal your damaged hair. By adding moisture and nutrients to your hair, this will result in a shiny and healthy appearance.  It has a very light floral scent, which I think smells quite lovely, but the scent doesn't linger after shower time :[

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream in Blooming Fit
BB Creams are short for "blemish balm" and offer hydration, coverage, and sun protection in one.  This Etude House BB cream moisturizes, soothes, and covers any skin blemishes.  Start with a small amount and easily layer for increased coverage.  This BB cream is one of our favorites because it's easy to apply, blends well, and is lightweight on the skin.  Apply to face using a foundation brush or simply with your fingers.

This BB cream has a lightweight formula that doesn't take long to absorb in the skin. It is light coverage, though it is buildable. It leaves a slightly dewy finish. I personally don't really care for BB creams, or foundations and such, but I find that it does help to reduce redness, so I will probably use it for that purpose.

It's Skin Mangowhite Lip and Eye Remover Tissue (15 towelettes)
Fresh mangosteen extract, green tea extract, orange extract, olive oil, and argan oil all combine in this gentle makeup removing wipe to take off your eye and lip makeup at the end of a long day.  Even the toughest waterproof mascara doesn't stand a chance against these wipes! After use, follow up with a facial cleanser.

This is my favorite product in the box! Originally, I thought that this was a stand-alone kind of makeup removal wipe, so you could get away with not rinsing your face afterwards, but that was not the case.  You need to rinse (and/or use a cleanser) after use, because your face is going to feel all oily and soapy feel-y.  It removes even the toughest makeup with ease, so I don't have to try and forcefully rub my makeup off.  It is a very gentle and easy process, which results in happy skin!  It has a fruity, floral fragrance which I think is quite nice. After rinsing, my face feels fresh and clean again!

A'Pieu Finger Blusher in CR02 (10 ml)

This cream blush is great for achieving a natural and rosy flush to the cheeks that just makes you glow.  After applying BB cream or foundation, dab a small amount (pea-sized) onto your cheeks with your fingers or blend it out using a flat top stippling brush.

This finger blusher is such an interesting concept.  As you can guess from the name, this is applied using your fingers! It is a creamy blush that has a lovely peachy pink shade.  It has a very natural finish and it feels really lightweight.  Because of it's creamy mousse-like consistency, it is very easy to work with!

Note: Some of these products did not feature a weight or size, so I left it blank. I did not note any prices, there are just too many sites with varying prices and sizes that I think it's just too much. I will provide a product link for you for each product from the roseroseshop - my review on the site here. I believe that even after shipping, these are some of the lowest prices you could find on Asian products. (Product links: Skinfood, Etude House, It's Skin, A'Pieu)

I have done an unboxing here, if you want to check that out:

Overall Thoughts:
To me, I think this bag is worth $12 on the dot (or maybe a tad less), but I don't feel that it's "well worth" the price I paid for it. I'm not saying these products are bad or anything, I just don't think it was worth me paying $12 for (maybe I'm just cheap).  I know though that I will get full use out of all of these products (except for the BB cream). I have been thoroughly enjoying the lip and eye remover tissues, and I think it was fun trying out the finger blusher. I was happy that I could try out the BB cream, even though it ended up not working for me.  Overall, I think it was okay this month.

I hope you enjoyed this little review of the June 3B Box, and I hope you have a lovely week!
