The 3B Box, also known as Beauty Beyond Borders is a $12 monthly subscription box that features Asian cosmetics and skincare. Usually there will be 4 or 5 deluxe sample sizes, but sometimes we get blessed with full sized products! If you are even considering this beauty box, sign up now as there is currently a waitlist! Check out their website for more information!
Last month's box was basically skincare products (plus a hair treatment), and this month is no different! I have been loving all the skincare products that have been included in the 3B boxes! This month we get five products!
Inside the box!
Hada Labo Tokyo Skin Plumping Gel Cream (0.35 oz, 10 g)
Hada Labo Tokyo is Japan's #1 skincare line with Super Hyaluronic Acid for deeper, multi-layer hydration to achieve smoother, younger looking skin. The luxuriously silky Skin Plumping Gel Cream combines the perfecting power of a serum with the intense hydration of a moisturizer and is clinically shown to hydrate skin for up to 24 hours with just one application.
This cream is very lightweight, easy to apply, and absorbs quickly into the skin. This product is unscented. After application, my skin already feels smoother! This product seems really promising! I'm actually tempted to switch out my nightly cream just to try this product out now!
~Currently available at Ulta, $9 for 0.35 oz~
Ra&Gowoori Whitening UV Sun Cream (70 mL)
This light non-sticky sunscreen has an SPF of 50 with PA+++protection to block UVA and UVB rays. It works great alone or as a makeup base. Apply daily to protect your skin from harmful sun damage.
I am so happy to have received a sunscreen type product! (I am running out of the one I'm currently using!) This product is full sized as well, which is another plus! Even as we enter colder and gloomier months, sun protection should never be neglected. Just because you don't see the sun doesn't mean it doesn't exist! This product claims to lighten the skin as well as help with wrinkles! After I use it for a longer period, I'll let you know if this product lives up to its claims! This product is lightly scented which is a big plus for me (the smell of typical sunscreens/sunblock is nauseating for me)! It is thicker in consistency than a gel, but it's not as thick as a cream. It takes some time to absorb but it's not sticky like your typical sun protecting products!
~Currently available at Roseroseshop, $4.07 for 70 mL~
Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence (30 mL)
This celebrated essence contains over 90% of fermented yeast extract to calm troubled skin and restore natural elasticity and hydration. After cleansing, apply a dime-sized amount to palms and gently tap into face until absorbed. Follow with emulsion or moisturizer.
When I initially saw that I received this product, I didn't realize that it is a popular essence and highly talked about! It has been said that it's a cheaper alternative to the SKII Facial Treatment Essence. I have a small sample size of the SKII, so I am excited to try this product and compare the two! This product contains galactomyces. Galactomyces is a popular asian skincare ingredient, and before this box, I had no idea such a thing exists! After further research, I found that galactomyces has hydrating and antioxidant effects (source). I typically use essence as part of my night skin care routine after toner and before moisturizer!
~Currently available at Roseroseshop, $3.82 for 2x30 mL~
Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil Moisture (25 mL)
Formulated with coconut and argan oil to gently remove tough waterproof makeup, this cleansing oil is one of our favorites. It effectively removes stubborn eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, and foundation while protecting and moisturizing skin. For best results, follow up with a foam cleanser.
I have actually been wanting to try this product for the longest time and then never got the chance to purchase it, so you can probably guess my excitement when I found this in the box. It has a really nice scent. It actually reminds me of the Skinfood Apple Toner/Emulsion. It's probably not apples though since it contains coconut oil, grape seed oil, and apricot kernel oil. I swear it smells like apples (maybe it's the apricot!)
~Currently available at Roseroseshop, $1.82 for 25 mL
A'pieu Nonco Tea Tree Spot Patch (12 circular patches?)
This spot patch treatment contains tea tree oil and other herbal extracts to help clear blemishes and prevent future acne. Before applying a patch to the desired area, wash face and make sure the area is dry and clean. Apply patch to troubled area and let it sit for 8-12 hours during sleep.
I tried a similar product years ago, back during my college days, the Nexcare Acne Absorbing Cover, which shrinks the acne, but it exposes the little white head. I'm thinking this product does the same thing, as tea tree oil is a common ingredient for acne related problems. It looks like there's two different sizes provided. I'm looking forward to trying such a product again! I don't get many pimples and such but around my time of the month or before horrendous exams they just start sprouting!
~Currently available at Roseroseshop, $2.27 for 1 pack~
I did an unboxing video if you would like to check it out! I also included close ups of all the products as well!
This month's box is full of really amazing products! I am so excited for all the products in this box. Every.single.one. Amazing month for 3B! Well worth the $12! I've been questioning my subscription to this box for some of the previous months', but after this month, there is no question about it! 10/10!
Did you receive this month's box? What is your fav product? Let me know your thoughts!
Have a lovely week!
