Influenster | Jingle VoxBox 2016

Hello there! This post is long overdue but it is still worth talking about! So...let's take a look inside my Jingle VoxBox!

Influenster is a lovely site that gives you the opportunity to receive free products to test out and review! While you don't have an active campaign, you can spend that down time reviewing and exploring new products on their site! A new feature I like is the option to create lists, so you can now organize products into whatever way you want; for example, monthly favs, yearly favs, products to try, wish list, etc. If you are interested in Influenster, check out their site here: https://www.influenster.com/

The box I received is the Jingle VoxBox which contains a number of items perfect for the winter and New Year season.

Products Inside!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream: Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is a rich, quickly absorbing, non-greasy cream that provides long-lasting relief for even severely dry skin. This unique formula attracts water to skin and helps prevent moisture loss. ($8.99-$15.99)

I initially didn't see anything particularly special about this product, but it is a cream that I have grown to love. It doesn't feel greasy or sticky and it doesn't have a scent! I leave this little tub at my desk and use it whenever my skin feels dehydrated. It takes care of dry patches and it's quick to absorb into the skin!
Biscoff Cookies: Since 1932, Lotus Biscoff Speculoos have been Europe's favorite cookie with coffee. Delectably crunch with a unique taste and flavor, Biscoff is perfect for taking the timeout that you deserve. ($2.99-250g)

If you are a fan of crispy cookies, look into getting this cookie for yourself! I  personally think it tastes okay by itself, but I absolutely adore it in ice cream. This should be available as a topping in froyo places everywhere! I'm sure it would taste wonderful with coffee, but I am more of a tea drinker myself. (But I do love all those chocolately Starbucks fraps ;]). Once I tried the cookie with ice cream, I refused to eat it any other way!
Ore-Ida Tater Tots: Ore-Ida, the inventor of the one-and-only Tater Tot, is looking for you to be a part of the next big Tater craze. Show us your creativity and be a part of the #OreIdaTotchos movement! ($3.99)

There was two choices: tater tots and mini tater tots. I went to Target with the intention of picking up the mini tater tots, but it was all sold out. *tear* Luckily, the regular tater tots were still available, so I picked that up! They are delicious! It comes pretty much not seasoned, but even the instructions say to add seasoning to it. These tater tots are crispy on the outside but soft and "fluffy" on the inside. I had them as a little breakfast nacho inspired kind of recipe and I've had them with just a sprinkle of garlic powder and ranch and ketchup. Yum!
Hallmark Itty Bittys (Olaf): Hallmark itty bittys give them a little something to love. New characters in time for the holiday season include Star Wars, Barbie, DC Comics, Inside Out, Rainbow Brite and many more. Collect them all. These make great stocking stuffers! Available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores and Hallmark.com. (Starts at $6.95)

Well.. it's a bit too late for stocking stuffers, but these are so cute! I've been stalking Instagram posts, and quite a number of people collect them, kind of like Tsum Tsums! These itty bittys are, as you would guess it, quite itty bitty! The one I received, little Olaf, has a plushie-like head, and a body filled with little beads/beans-like things. He makes me smile! There are a ton of different characters that there's bound to be one (or many) you'll fall in love with!
NYC City Proof 24HR Waterproof Eyeliner (#931 in black): City Proof 24HR eyeliner is a waterproof pencil that is perfect for your on-the-go lifestyle, just glide on for long lasting 24HR color! ($3.99)

This product is so creamy and buttery! It glides on so easily, so there is no tugging at all. It's actually not as intense on the eyes as I'd like it to be. I also have oily eyelids, and even with eyeshadow primer, it still does smudge a bit more than I'd like. I use this to kind of line my eyes, or create a smokey eye look, but this pencil doesn't create sharp, thin lines like other pencils.  Just something to keep in mind!
KISS True Volume Lashes (Chic): Made with 100% natural hair, KISS True Volume lashes blend beautifully with your own lashes. The Tapered End Technology creates natural-looking ends that resemble real lashes but give eyes that perfect "vavoom" without looking too made up. ($3.99)

One thing that I love about these lashes is that they have that tapered end effect, which basically means that it's thicker at the lash line and gets thinner as you go to the tips. These particular lashes are extremely natural looking. It only made my lashes have a slight volume and lengthening effect, but it's not something I would go to a fancy occasion with. If I were someone who wears lashes on a day-to-day basis and want it to look natural but slightly better looking than natural, I would wear these lashes. I like the feel of KISS lashes though, and I like how they are lightweight!
KISS Strip Lash Adhesive with Aloe (clear): Enjoy wearing false lashes without the irritation! The KISS Aloe Vera Strip Lash Adhesive is a safe and long-lasting glue with the refreshing scent of aloe. ($3.99)

Now...I don't go around smelling my lash glue, but I can say that it doesn't smell as bad as other ones I've used. This lash adhesive says that it contains aloe, which is a very nice ingredient to have, but I personally didn't experience anything special with it. It was such a typical lash adhesive that dries clear. I do like lash adhesive with a brush or some kind of wand applicator, which makes it a lot easy to apply glue on lashes and these did the job.

Pure Ice Nail Polish (did not receive in box!): Pure Ice is for the girl whose got passion for the hottest nail colors and trends. Offering an array of nail polish colors and effects, from high-pigment creams to shimmering iridescent pearls and multidimensional single coat glitters, our shoppers can always play with color! Pure Ice is proudly made in the USA, without formaldehyde, toluene or DBP. ($1.97, only at Walmart)

Since I didn't receive one in my box, I can't really do a review on it. BUT! I have done a review on a Pure Ice polish in the past. Link here!

Those are all the products that were (or weren't) in the box! If you want to take a look at my unboxing video:

This was such a fun box to receive. Products ranged from makeup to snacks and little itty bittys! Check out Influenster yourself! It's a fun site to explore and who knows, maybe you'll be getting the next VoxBox! Take care lovelies!
